 There is no greater resource for our dreams, our beliefs, and
our outlook, than us. We are each present 24 hours a day, while awake or during
sleep. And, we continue to think and process whether meditating, working,
playing, or relaxing. By tuning into what we are running in our talk and think
"tracks," we can harness our personal power, potential, and direction.
I wonder what our lives would be like, if we each chose only productive,
positive, and reassuring thoughts and words. If we let go of the language and
thinking of "shortcomings, disappointment, worry, and distress," how would our
existence change?
My guess is that we would shed huge "outer shells" of negativity that are
currently holding us back. Think of the freedom we could each create in our life
by walking away from the sludge and drudge we are now allowing.
All it really takes is some commitment and determination, along with owning up
to our responsibility in creating the lives we lead. Once we see this
correspondence and accept it, we begin to be more conscious of how we are living
each day and moment. This consciousness then becomes our mechanism for steering
our boat, for launching new practices.
